Santiago’s Board And Batten Siding

The siding project we completed at Santiago’s in Billings, MT, is a standout example of modern design with a rustic edge. We used 10-inch board and batten panels, crafted from 22-gauge A606 material, to create a unique exterior that perfectly balances boldness and subtlety. The board and batten siding showcases distinct sections where the bold, raised battens contrast with the flat, striated panels, giving the building a dynamic and textured appearance. To further enhance the aesthetic, we incorporated nail strip accents that add a refined, detailed touch to the overall look. The result is a striking exterior that not only reflects Santiago’s character but also offers durability and timeless appeal.

“A good siding job is more than just a facelift for your home; it’s about protection, durability, and enhancing the beauty of your property for years to come.” – Bob Vila

The Challenge

Working under powerlines on a busy street with a tight deadline posed significant challenges, requiring careful coordination and heightened safety measures to ensure the project was completed efficiently and without incident.

The Result

The outcome of the Santiago’s Mexican Restaurant project is a stunning transformation that perfectly marries functionality with aesthetic appeal. Despite the challenges of working under powerlines on a bustling street and within a tight timeframe, the finished exterior showcases the beauty and durability of the 22-gauge A606 board and batten siding, enhanced by nail strip accents. The bold, textured look not only elevates the restaurant’s curb appeal but also creates a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the vibrant spirit of Santiago’s, making it a standout in the Billings, MT community.
